February is here and almost gone!

We received a lovely and large lithograph and silkscreen work (above) titled "Bonne Bay" from Frank Stella's series Newfoundland. It's a favorite of mine and the colors are amazing...no fading in the purples at all!  Also coming is another Stella titled "Chocorua" seen below:

Also of note is a large Guy Anderson painting called "Division of the Egg" from 1979-80. A big, and lovely work on paper from this NW Master:
Another great thing was the arrival of eleven works from the 1970s by Gaylen Hansen...after looking at these on the walls for a few days now, I'd say my favorite is the painting on canvas below:
A lovely, good hangable-sized Kenneth Callahan painting of a shoreline with a snow-covered mountain and some nice white brushwork is also hanging now:

Other NW names here:
Mark Tobey, Bill Hoppe, James Martin, Art Hansen, Terry Turrell, and more!
For those interested in the "Non-Masters" artists, some notable additions:
two lovely welded steel sculptures by Peter Millett, a drawing by Patrick Holderfield, a Whiting Tennis painting, Jeffry Mitchell bunny print, a lush landscape by Victoria Adams, two patterned paintings by Isabel Kahn, a small red painting by Sylvan Klaus, a thorn painting by Anne Siems, an installation of black crow paintings by Shawn Ferris, a sculpture of rose petals sewn on eggs by Wendy Hanson, a pair of cobalt blue and sepia prints by Steven Sorman (part of the blue series shown at Walker Art Center show ha while back - he's in the collection of the Stedkijk Museum in Amsterdam, MoMA, The Whitney, The Art Institute of Chicago and, of course, Walker Art Center) - these two prints by Sorman really remind me of the abstract horse printworks by Susan Rothenberg. Also, Mark Rediske, Jay Steensma, and Michael Ehle.
Recent Reductions:

End of Year Round-up!

Well, we made it through a full year of business and are steaming along into our second. As the year ends, we must hail all who contributed in making our business such a success: Those who purchased, visited, commented and consigned - THANK YOU ALL!

Our inventory has just been getting better and better as the word gets out to Seattle (and outside Washington State!), so please continue to check the website often as things are added as soon as they arrive.

Also of note is my side venture: http://www.246girl.com - handmade dresses for girls size 2, 4 and 6 only - Eurostyle high-end fabric all crafted by hand!

Thanks again, Seattle collectors!
